Location: New Baltimore, MI
System Deployed: 103.2
Estimated Year 1 Generation: 108 MWh
In the winter of 2024, Michigan Solar Solutions (MSS) partnered with New Baltimore Place to install a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system, supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives while mitigating the impact of rising electricity costs. This project is designed to provide both long-term financial savings and environmental benefits.
In its first year, the solar array is expected to generate 108,280 kWh of clean energy, offsetting approximately 82.7 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This reduction is equivalent to eliminating 210,568 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle. This installation marks a significant step toward a more sustainable future, ensuring reliable, renewable energy for decades to come.
